World Changers Mission Trip!

This year the missions team is going to West Memphis, Arkansas from June 21st through the 26th. Come the Sunday after to hear about their week!!

Sunday Night Cookout

On Sunday, May 16th we are going to get together for a cookout and games instead of having a regular youth night. Mark your calendars and invite your friends!!! Plan on getting there at 6:00 instead of 7:00, so we can start the fun off a little early!!

City Wide Missions Event!!

On April 17th, we will be teaming with several churches around the community for a day of missions. This will be a lot like World Changers for those of you who are familiar with that. This is a free event, but deadline to sign up is March 21st. We will need to meet at 7:15 at the church on the day of the event, and will return back to the church between 7:30 and 8:00. Don't worry about food...lunch and dinner will be provided.

Service and Snow Cancelled!!!!!

Young Christians Weekend 2010

Young Christians Weekend is March 26th-March 28th this year. We are going to be staying in condos instead of hotels this time, so we will have more room to hang out. Deadline to sign up is March 7th, and cost is $60. Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning will be provided along with dinner on Saturday, so be sure to bring extra money for food, snacks, and anything else you might want. We are going to try to leave around 5:30 on the 26th, and will return on the 28th at 4:00. This is an awesome event, so be sure to sign up and invite your friends!!

Service and Snow

Get excited!!!!!! Again this year on February 13th we are headed to Kansas City for a day of service and snow. We will get to Kansas City around 10:00 or 10:30, and will be helping a local church out. Later that day we will head to the park and spend a few hours tubing. Be sure to sign up and invite friends! More details will follow!

Super Bowl Watch Party

We are heading to the Scott's house to watch the Super Bowl on February 7th. Meet us at the church at 5:00 or you can head to their house in time for kick-off. We will return to the church after the game is over. This year we are asking everyone to bring non-perishable food for the Food Bank, and think of things that you guys would like to eat!!! Bring as much as you want or can. Since we are bringing food for the Food Bank you don't have to worry about bringing drinks and food for the party, but if you want to you are more than welcome to. Guys bring a 2 liter bottle of soda and girls bring some type of snack food and we will provide the rest. Invite your friends to come and have a great time together!!

Road Trip

Our yearly road trip will be on January 16th, so save your Christmas money. We will be going to St. Louis for a day of shopping, and trampoline dodgeball at SkyZone! We will be meeting at the church at 7:00, and will be back around 11:00 that night. Bring money for shopping and 3 meals. Here is a link for a waiver for SkyZone that needs to be filled out and signed by your parents if you are under the age of 18 for you to participate at SkyZone. Invite your friends to this awesome event!! It would be a good idea to bring a change of clothes because we will be getting a workout!! After SkyZone we will head to Chesterfield mall for some shopping.

New Year's Eve Watch Night

There will not be a watch night party on New Year's Eve, but we will have a watch night service at 11:30 pm. Hope to see you all there to ring in the new year!

Candles and Carols

Wednesday, December 23rd is Candles & Carols. This is a great night with lots of singing and remembering what Christmas is really about!!

St. Francis House

On Wednesday, December 16th we are going to the St. Francis House. Bring warm clothes or travel sized toiletries to church by December 13th, and plan to come along and bring finger food to share the 16th.

Christmas Party!!!

Get ready for our annual youth Christmas party on Friday, December 18th at 7:00 pm. It will be at the Hart's house. It will be a fun night with games, presents, and good food!! Bring a gift that costs $5.00 or less to exchange with either a boy or a girl. Also bring a pillow or mattress pad that we will be donating to Rainbow House. This will be a fun night, so we look forward to seeing you. Meet at the church at 6:30, or you can meet us at the Hart's. We will be back at the church around 9:15 pm!

Leaf Pile Update!!!

If you guys have any extra rakes, bring them along if you can!!!!!! It is supposed to be beautiful weather tomorrow......sunny and a high of around 70 degrees. Come ready to work and have some fun!

Leaf Pile 2009!!!!!!!

We did this event last year, and it was a ton of fun so lets make it even better this year! We are going to be meeting at the church at 12:30 to break into groups to go and rake leaves at several houses until dark. Make sure to eat lunch before coming as we will not have food for lunch! After raking leaves, we are going to head over to the Price's house to jump in the huge leaf pile. We are also going to have dinner out there with hot dogs, chili, hot cider, s'mores along with other goodies. We will be back at the church no later than 8:00 PM. This is going to be a fun event while also helping out people from our church and community!! Be sure to sign up if you are coming and hope to see everyone there!!

Campfire Night!

We will be having our normal worship service outside under the shelter on Sunday, October 25th. Dress appropriately for the cool weather. We will be roasting s'mores, and enjoy the fall weather!

All Church Hayride!!!!

On Friday, October 23 at 6:00 PM there will be a hayride at Kent and Janet Wulff's house. The entire church is invited, and there will be a bonfire, hayride, and plenty of good food to eat! It will be a fun event, so don't miss it!!

Trip to St.Louis

On October 3rd, we will be heading to St.Louis for a day of fun...if you sell $1000 in raffle tickets for the fish fry. So start selling now, and you guys will get to pick whatever it is you want to do while in St.Louis!
